2019 Lake Murray Paddle Classic
The 2019 Lake Murray Paddle Classic was a SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboard) race that benefitted the South CarolinaSpecial Olympics SUP Team. The event took place at Rusty Anchor Marina & Catfish Johnny’s on Lake Murray in Columbia, SC, and it featured a male and female Special Olympics SUP competition followed by a 1-mile, 3-mile, and 7-mile SUP race. The event took place on September 21, 2019 which would have been Joe’s 41st birthday. The Joseph B. Cross Foundation was proud to be a Silver level sponsor for this event.
